2/11 HHT Christmas Party
My husband’s unit, 2/11 HHT, part of the 2/11 ACR here at Fort Irwin, had their Christmas Party last night! There were a few hiccups, but overall it was a huge success. We planned for 500 soldiers and family members, so we had plenty of drinks, paper supplies, games, and presents for the kids. We even had a DJ this year! However, not everyone brought a food item, like they were supposed to 
In fact, I TOTALLY FORGOT to make a food item with all the chaos of the day! I even had everything set aside to make it! sigh* Megan did a wonderful job planning the party and I’m thankful for our end of the night clean-up crew!
*Carry-in does not work for large unit parties! Just an FYI 
Other than the Christmas Party (which was huge…lol), there was a CARDS submission call deadline this week!
Also, this week I had 2 meetings for The Women’s Conference that I chair for, a MOPS Christmas Party, and two other meetings/classes I just didn’t make it to! Thank goodness this week is OVAH!

we have our unit party this weekend {for the families since our hubbies are deployed}… tho we have so much snow I might not get out of my driveway!
