Dad and Child
Good Morning everyone! As most of you know, my Dad is also in the Army… This card is for him! Growing up, he was the stereotypical Army dad, encouraging me to play any and all sports, video taping my speeches so that I could learn and improve, making me do extra homework, waking up early to have our own practices, and basically just setting a higher standard for me to aspire to. Let me tell you…I HATED it at the time! But, because of his tireless efforts, I accomplished more than I could ever dream of as a kid! And, now that I’m a parent, I appreciate his efforts so much more
This card is for my dad, a man that never settled for 2nd place, LOL!

Beautiful and so touching.
It’s hard to appreciate being pushed to do our best at the time. I think it’s one of those situations where hindsight makes all the difference.
