Trying New Things Part II

A Friendly Cup of Joe

I have seen Laura O’Donnell beautifully execute this cardboard tearing technique time and time again! It’s been a year and half since I’ve tried! So, I thought I’d give it a whirl. I love the Hero Arts Background Cling Stamps! They’re so easy to use and you get a nice even coverage….which is difficult with most large backgrounds. All’s you do is lay the cling on a hard even surface, ink it up, and then place your cardstock on it and rub to ensure full coverage. Easy peasy! I just used a wipe to clean the ink off! Check out Jen McGuire’s Emboss Layered Resist technique video where she shows you what I’m talking about!

Oh, I love this. I am a HUGE fan of coffee stamps first off!!!!! I totally just bought that cling background stamp! My FIRST stamp purchase other than PTI! Pat me on the back! I love the coffee cup and the sleeve is to die for! I would LOVE for you to do a video tutorial on how you made this card. From the cling stamp, to the torn cardboard to the coffee sleeve! So many cool techniques I would LOVE to learn. SO come on. Put that afternoon delight aside and make me a video, will you?!? :)
