Lawn Fawn Stamps: Petite Florals Pocket/Easel Card (Tiff Version)

Pocket/Easel Card

This card was SUPER easy to make! It’s a variation of a pocket/easel card!

Here’s the easel backing:

Easel Backing

The card measures 5×5 and I used various techniques: pocket card, copic coloring, paper piecing, and masking.

Materials:

Instructions:

  1. For the pocket, trim green patterned paper for pocket (3 1/2″ x 5″).
  2. Stamp Floral border on the diagonal. It doesn’t matter if you overlap images because you will be paper piecing the flowers.
  3. Stamp same flowers on coordinating patterned paper and cut.
  4. Trim the excess paper from the green paper cutting around the flowers and swirls.
  5. Paper piece the flowers and add bing.

****************************************************************************************************

  1. To finish the pocket, trim coordinating patterned paper (small floral 5″ x 5″) and round top corner.
  2. Apply a thin strip of adhesive to the left and bottom of the green patterned paper pocket.
  3. Adhere to larger piece of patterned paper, bottom-left corner to bottom-left corner.

****************************************************************************************************

  1. For the card insert, trim white cardstock (4 1/4 x 4 1/4″).
  2. Stamp Flowers, creating masks for some. Save the masks in the stamp set insert for future use.
  3. Stamp sentiment and color flowers.
  4. Mat with green patterned paper.
  5. Insert in pocket.

****************************************************************************************************

  1. To create the easel backing, trim a piece of white cardstock into an “R” shape.
  2. Score and fold the straight side, apply adhesive, and adhere to middle of the back of the card.
  3. Cut the bottom part of the “R” at a slight angel so that the card stands and stamp the flower.

Bright, cheery card! Aren’t those double back wheeled scooters the best? Give him a year and he’ll be whizzing by on the Razor scooters! I loved these for my boys.
