This card is a melting pot of different products! The background was created simply by stamping a Schlosser Designs Hexagon-a-thon stamp repeatedly to create a honey comb!

Dad and Child

Good Morning everyone! As most of you know, my Dad is also in the Army… This card is for him! Growing up, he was the stereotypical Army dad, encouraging me to play any and all sports, video taping my speeches so that I could learn and improve, making me do extra homework, waking up early to have our own practices, and basically just setting a higher standard for me to aspire to. Let me tell you…I HATED it at the time! But, because of his tireless efforts, I accomplished more than I could ever dream of as a kid! And, now that I’m a parent, I appreciate his efforts so much more This card is for my dad, a man that never settled for 2nd place, LOL!

Here’s a card I submitted to Paper Crafts for their sketch challenge submission call. It’s a reject….lol! But I love it just the same! I saw Ashley Newell use this Hambly Screen Print Transparency HERE and had to have my own in yellow Also, here’s a tip, the basic grey chipboard alpha stickers were the wrong shade of brown for this card, so I went over them with my copic markers! Easy peasy! I also layered the transparency with some vellum, so that it didn’t blend in with the woodgrain!

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!!! I’m still working on that wreath! I’ll post pics of it when I’m finished!
